Prep work

Will did another triathlon last weekend in Huntington (Crandall Canyon Mine ring a bell?  That's where it was).  Only the extremely motivated would practice swimming in an irrigation pond...freezing irrigation pond...to work on their swimming skills.

That would be Will.

Before his triathlons, I've been taking him to this...pond, I guess you could call it, so he can practice swimming in "open" water, and he's been riding his bike home after swimming for a while, and then he runs.

He makes me feel so lazy!

Emma came along with us and I thought for sure that she would want nothing to do with the freezing water.  She got all the way in and loved it!
