This is 4 days before Lauren decided to "break" her way into this world! She continues to surprise us everyday! Her first surprise was when we found out we were having another baby. Katie Jane was only 9 months old, yeah....I know....Will and I must have used the same towel or something.
The adventure began at 3 a.m. when my water broke...three weeks early. The next adventure was driving from Levan (aka "the sticks" or "Levan down by the river") with the gas light on in our car and no where to get gas that early in the morning! Then the adventure of finding out that "It's a GIRL". And finally, the adventure of having her deliver so fast that Dr. Nance didn't even make it to the delivery! Lauren got a bib that said, "I was ALMOST delivered by Dr. Steven Nance"
Lauren is FULL of personality! She has the most contagious giggle. She loves to give hugs and kisses and she is full of awesome facial expressions! What a beautiful girl!
Will brought Lauren a jewelry box home from Afghanistan when he visited. The jewelry in this house is going to be extremely safe. All the earrings without their matches are now safe and secure...no worries, people!!
Lauren spent her 10th birthday at the dentist office in Colorado (thanks Uncle Brad) getting her teeth cleaned and two cavities filled. She had to eat the cake that Aunt Lezlee made with half of her face slanted down and asleep! 
And then she got her nails painted. Probably the only thing she got to do on her birthday that she wanted to do. Something else she wanted to do involved an All-you-can-eat Chinese buffet! She also wanted a bike...which she got when we got home.

Happy Birthday Lauren! We don't get to see you often enough but remember we sure do love you guys! Hope getting the bike made up for having to go to the dentist on your birthday --even if it was your uncle. (No offense Brad-it's just a drag to do that on your birthday)
