That's my name!!

It all started when Will was on his mission in Korea. He wrote my name in the sand at the beach on the Yellow Sea....

I thought for sure when he sent this to me that he had covered the beach with a bunch of other girls' names too. Hi Julie. Hi Suzy. Hi Linda. Hi Wanda. (none of those women have ever existed in his life, btw!) I imagined the beach, covered with other names and Will taking his picture with each one and sending it to a swooning girl, who was waiting for him back home. Turns out, it was only MY name in the sand. Sweet, huh? Then.... Will wrote this on a little chalkboard at home. The kids know to NEVER go near it and not to even THINK about erasing it. My superstitious mind thinks that if it gets erased, he'll not "+" me anymore! So if and when he ever gets sick and tired of me, HE can erase it - but no one else is allowed!

Then, Will sent this to me this morning....
While driving back from the base camp, he took some blue sidewalk chalk and wrote our initials in the road. He said that a little boy came up behind him and tried to copy in yellow what he had written. Ahhhhh, isn't that sweet?

In the Korean sand, on a Russian concrete road in Afghanistan, and at home on a little chalkboard.....I know that Will loves me!

Oh Sweet! Who know the "+" symbol could mean so much to us ladies.
